Zevaux ships five real-time triggers and two actions on Zapier. Triggers fire instantly when the corresponding event happens inside Zevaux; actions let any Zap push data into Zevaux.
Triggers (Zevaux → Zapier)
- 1New Lead: The AI receptionist captured a new lead. Includes name, phone, email, reason, urgency, and the source call id.
- 2New Appointment Booked: A booking was confirmed, either by the AI agent during a call or synced from Calendly / Google Calendar.
- 3New Call Completed: A call ended and Zevaux has the outcome, summary, duration, and recording URL ready.
- 4New Follow-Up Created: A callback was requested by the caller, or an automated touch was scheduled by the system.
- 5New SMS Received: A customer texted your Zevaux number. Fires once per inbound message.
Actions (Zapier → Zevaux)
- 1Create Contact: Add or update a contact in Zevaux. Common Zaps: Facebook Lead Ads → Create Contact, web form submit → Create Contact, HubSpot deal won → Create Contact. Idempotent: re-running with the same phone won't duplicate the contact.
- 2Create Follow-Up: Schedule a callback inside Zevaux so a team member picks it up, or the AI agent recognizes the caller next time. Common Zaps: deal lost in HubSpot → 30-day winback follow-up, abandoned Typeform → Create Follow-Up.
Send SMS is coming in a future release. While we complete A2P 10DLC verification with our SMS provider, outbound SMS from Zaps is temporarily unavailable. For now, send outbound SMS from the Zevaux dashboard directly.
Full field reference
Each trigger and action exposes a stable set of fields with documented types. The full reference (including the envelope shape, error responses, and webhook signature verification) lives at [/docs/zapier](/docs/zapier).

How do I connect Zapier to Zevaux?
Generate an API key in Zevaux, connect Zevaux as an app inside Zapier, pick a trigger, and verify your first Zap end-to-end in under 5 minutes.
My Zap isn't firing, what should I check?
Most failures are one of three things: the Zap isn't actually on, the connection key was revoked, or the event genuinely didn't fire in Zevaux. Recent Deliveries tells you which one.
